I live in northern New Jersey and a lot of places are pretty local as we’re not a very wide state 🙂
Looking east from New Jersey is one of the most amazing and most recognizable vistas I can think of… New York City. Where better to see it then from New Jersey. These views are from Liberty State Park in Jersey City.

Looking west is the Delaware Water Gap that separates New Jersey and Pennsylvania. A beautiful drive through the rolling hills of New Jersey especially in the autumn.

I lived in NJ for many years and always thought it unfair that it got such a bad rap! There are so many beautiful areas in NJ, including those you’ve photographed so beautifully and many others. thanks so much for joining us with these.

Thank you for your kind words especially about New Jersey, it’s not the Garden State for nothing 🙂 I enjoy these challenges, keep them coming 🙂

Very nice. I lived 20 minutes from Liberty State Park during my high school. I still think it was so great to see those sites (from my bedroom window too). The garden State indeed, but you can find anything you seek in Jersey, can’t you? Donna

What a great view from your bedroom, must have been awesome at night too. You definitely can find anything in New Jersey and if you can’t it’s not worth having .. lol. I’ve always tried to show the beauty of NJ in my posts and a former blog I had which was pretty much only NJ. Hope you’re not too far from NJ and can still enjoy it. 🙂

Thank you beaglechase, good to hear from you again. The Statue of Liberty has always been a favorite of mine and she photographs well from any angle day or night 🙂
