MV Obsession

My obsession with Martha's Vineyard.. phototography..genealogy and life in general and this and that…

Weekly Photo Challenge: Evanescent…

Evanescent can be any fleeting moment in time and sunsets certainly qualify as such.

I'm married, I have two daughters and two grandchildren and they all love MV. Enjoy my MV blog and contact me if I can answer any questions. This blog started out as strictly about Martha's Vineyard but over the years I've branched out to include other obsessions and interests. I enjoy photography and like sharing my photos here as well. Hope you enjoy :)

  1. Truly gorgeous, and no two truly alike!

  2. Thank you Terri, and isn’t that the truth… no two alike 🙂

  3. I miss the Vineyard!… I’m starting to get antsy about not having an MV visit this summer, might try to get the husband to come with me for a last minute weekend or even just an overnight! Because of the cottage, our summer funds went there. But.. maybe just a day .. or two?… I need my fix.

  5. Karen, I hear you. It’s been too long for me too and I don’t know when I’ll get back there but I WILL.
    Meet ya 🙂

  6. gosh this is so perfect!!!! i wish i knew where i stashed the photo, but i have the perfect evanescent picture…..when i lived in belfair,wa we had a view of the hood canal (wild horses in the valley below) and mount rainier (about 60 miles away)….anyway, at sunset, there would be this moment where, for about 10 seconds, the sun would hit it just right, and the snowcap would turn pink…..i used to wait for that every evening, and i DID get a picture of it….. definitely a perfect moment frozen in time!!!!!
