We have visited Newport frequently, and while they are awe inspiring, I cannot imagine a life in such a huge and … stuffy? environment. I much prefer the campground cottages of MV. Now that’s really living

Beautiful photos, Joan! I have visited the Breakers, but none of the other Newport “Cottages”. Yes, I love the homes you’ve included from Martha’s Vineyard, particularly the close-up of the gingerbread cottage with the pretty garden–does it get better than those awning windows?
My last visit there was truly perfect–don’t know when I’ll get back…..
